What is Wellness?
Wellness is the act of practicing healthy habits on a daily basis to attain better physical and mental health outcomes. Habit change is key to making lifelong improvements to your health. Small daily habits done consistently will be the cornerstone of living a long and healthy life.
How do you Achieve Wellness?
I’ve always felt there are 4 main “ingredients” that you need in order to create and maintain a healthy lifestyle…. NUTRITION, SLEEP, EXERCISE AND STRESS MANAGEMENT.
01.
Nutrition
02.
Sleep
Proper rest sets you up to make the best choices for your health during the day. It is a time to reset. This is where I start when working with clients. A proper sleeping schedule is essential to longevity.
03.
Exercise
We were made to move, not to be sedentary. Together we will talk about activities that you enjoy and can do regularly in order for you to become and stay strong, fit and flexible as you age.
04.
Stress Management
Stress management is something we tend to forget about very easily, but it is crucial in maintaining a healthy life. Practicing relaxation techniques is key in keeping stress hormones at bay and living an enjoyable and fun life.
Elizabeth is patient and caring as well as very knowledgeable. She is a great listener and makes losing weight a positive and constructive process! She has taught me so much about myself and my body.
Alexis
Nutrition. Sleep. Exercise. Stress Management.
Each one of these elements plays a critical role in your health. Working together we will find the right balance of each in order for you to look and feel your very best. Together we will devise a plan to incorporate new habits into your daily routine.
I will listen to your needs, wants, goals and desires and work with you to develop the best plan for you. Being “healthy” is not about depriving yourself of food that you love. You always have a choice and your choices determine your future. I know you can live an amazing life that isn’t centered around good & bad foods, lack of sleep, lethargy and non-stop stress. You have been given one body and one life and what a gift it is. Let me help you live the best life possible.
