Wellness and Habit Change
What is Wellness?
Wellness is the act of practicing healthy habits on a daily basis to attain better physical and mental health outcomes. Habit change is key to making lifelong improvements to your health. Small daily habits done consistently will be the cornerstone of living a healthy life.
How do you Achieve Wellness?
I’ve always felt there are 4 main “ingredients” that you need in order to create and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Sleep is the cornerstone of a healthy life. Proper rest sets you up to make the best choices for your health during the day. It is a time to reset.
Movement is critical to a healthy lifestyle. We were made to move about, not to be sedentary. If you don’t use it, you lose it!
Stress management is something we tend to forget about very easily, but it is crucial in maintaining a healthy life. Practicing relaxation techniques is key in living a healthy life.
Elizabeth is patient and caring as well as very knowledgeable. She is a great listener and makes losing weight a positive and constructive process! She has taught me so much about myself and my body.
Nutrition. Sleep. Exercise. Stress Management.
Each one of these elements plays a critical role in your health. Working together we will find the right balance of each in order for you to look and feel your very best. Together we will devise a plan to incorporate new habits into your daily routine.
I will listen to your needs, wants, goals and desires and work with you to develop the best plan for you. If your goal is weight loss, decreasing A1C, lowering cholesterol, controlling blood pressure or all of the above, working on specific daily habits will help you achieve all of these!
It is not about depriving yourself of food that you love. It is about taking control back from food! You determine your future and I know you can live an amazing life that isn’t centered around good & bad foods, lack of sleep, lethargy and through-the-roof stress. You have been given one body and one life and what a gift it is. Let me help you live the best life possible.
